Children's Map Competition 2023

The objectives of the competition are to promote children’s creative representation of the world, to enhance their cartographic awareness, and to make them more conscious of their environment.
比赛的目的是促进儿童对世界的创造性表述，提高他们的制图意识，并使他们更加关注自己的环境。
We are pleased to announce that our students have won awards in the 2023 Children's Map NZ competition!
Congratulations to Tiffany Ye for winning first place in the 13-15 age group! Naomi Wu also achieved third place in the same category! We are also excited for Ashley Gan, who won first place in the 9-12 age group, and Mina Lee, who won second place in the same category!
The works of the two students who received first-place awards will be selected to participate in global competitions.
At SEN ART ACADEMY, we believe that every child has the potential to create beautiful and meaningful art. It is an honor to see the hard work and creativity of our students recognized, and we are proud of these talented young artists. We are grateful for the opportunity to guide them on their artistic journey, and we cannot wait to see their future creations!
For all of our students, whether you have won awards in the competition or not, we are proud of you for putting yourself out there and sharing your unique perspectives with the world. Keep creating, keep learning, and keep pursuing your great dreams!

1. Sponsor prizes for 1st / 2nd / 3rd in each category
2. All 1st place winners receive a custom map for their school
3. Winning entries will be submitted to the 2023 international competition

Content:
作品尺寸及规定
1. The maximum size must not exceed A3 (420 mm x 297 mm)
2. The surface should be flat and pasted-on objects may not be higher than 5 mm and have to bethoroughly fixed.
3. The map can be made using any unbreakable material (thus no glass).
4. The entry should be an original piece of work and it can be made using traditional methods (colour pencils, water colour, etc) or a computer program

2. 表面应平整，粘贴的物体不得高于5毫米，且必须彻底固定。
3. 地图可以使用任何不易碎的材料（比如玻璃）。
4.参赛作品应是一件原创作品，可以使用传统方法（彩色铅笔、水彩等）或计算机程序制作。

每张作品的背面都必须贴上英文的标签，内容如下：Each map must have the following information in English on a label attached to the back side of
the representation：
1. Author name(s) 作者姓名
2. Author age(s) 作者年龄
3. Country 国家
4. School 学校
5. Author personal address* 作者个人地址
