Lions New Zealand Peace Poster Competition 2023

To a young person, a dream isn’t just a wish, hope, or desire — it’s a path, a goal, an ambition. But achieving that dream takes hard work. So, this year, we’re asking young people to show how they’ll turn their dream of a peaceful world into reality.

THE 2023-2024 CONTEST THEME “Dare to Dream”

  • Manga/Comic Grand Prize: $3,300 (and Wacom Cintiq Pro 16, view on Amazon. Comic / Manga / Bande Dessinée / Webtoon Categories)

  • Manga/Comic Category Awards: $1,700 (and Wacom One Creative Pen Display, view on Amazon)

  • Storyboard Grand Prize: $2,200 (and Wacom One Creative Pen Display, view on Amazon)

  • Illustration Grand Prize: $550 (and Wacom One Creative Pen Display, view on Amazon)

作品尺寸及年龄规定

Artwork must be no smaller than 33 cm by 50 cm and no larger than 500 mm by 600 mm. In New Zealand, we strongly recommend the use of A2 size (420mm x 594 mm) acid and lignin-free art paper of not less than 110 gsm weight. Suitable pads of A2 Art paper will be supplied free to your School by your local Lions Club.

The contest is open to students who will be 11, 12 or 13 years of age on November 15th 2023. 该竞赛向2023年11月15日年满11、12或13岁的学生开放。

Time Frame

  • January 15: Kits go on sale from the Club Supplies Sales Department at International Headquarters.

  • October 1: Deadline to purchase kits from the Club Supplies Sales Department at International Headquarters.

  • October 15: Postmark deadline for a club to send one winning poster (per contest sponsored) to the district governor.

  • November 15: Postmark deadline for a Governor to send one winning district poster tomultiple district council chairperson.

  • December 15: Postmark the deadline for the multiple district council chairperson to send one winning poster to the Public Relations Department at International Headquarters. 

  • February 1: International winners notified on or before this date.

  • 1 月 15 日：球衣在国际总部的俱乐部用品销售部开始销售。
