Sketching can be learned at any age, and we tailor the approach to each student’s stage of development. However, we generally recommend starting from around age 9, when many children begin learning geometry at school and gradually develop stronger 3D spatial awareness. This helps them understand basic forms and structure—key foundations for sketching. Sketching can also support spatial reasoning, which may help students better understand geometry concepts.
We teach through a structured, step-by-step curriculum that builds essential drawing fundamentals—observation, proportion, line quality, perspective (one-point, two-point and three-point perspective), shading, form, texture, and composition. Students progress from single geometric forms to multiple-form construction, from geometric plaster casts to irregular objects, from objects to the human figure, and from copying studies to real-life drawing (drawing from observation), with clear goals each term so progress is visible over time.
Yes. The trial class fee is $22. Trial classes are arranged inside a regular scheduled class (where there is an available space), so students can experience the real class environment before enrolling. All art materials are provided for the trial class, so it’s completely hassle-free—students can simply come and try.
